About the Speakers

Professor David Lloyd
Professor David Lloyd

David Lloyd is Emeritus Professor of Veterinary Dermatology in the Department of Clinical Sciences and Services at the Royal Veterinary College (University of London), England and is a European Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. His interests are focussed on the biology of the skin surface, cutaneous infection and immunity, antimicrobial resistance, hygiene and disinfection, and antimicrobial stewardship. He has special interests in staphylococci and yeasts of the genus Malassezia.

Dr Karen Campbell-Motsinger
Karen Campbell, DVM, MS, DACVIM – Small Animal Internal Medicine, DACVD treats allergies, bacterial and fungal infections, parasitic skin diseases, endocrine and metabolic disorders, immune-mediated diseases, skin tumors, nail and nail bed diseases, and other dermatoses. She will offer intradermal testing to identify allergies, injectable and oral allergen-specific immunotherapy, and video otoscopy for deep ear flushes, myringotomies, bulla cultures and removal of foreign bodies and polyps from the ear canal.

Dr Mark Papich
Dr. Mark G. Papich is a Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Professorship in Veterinary Pharmacology at North Carolina State University. He is the Supervisor of the Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory in the College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University. He is a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology (ACVCP), and has served as president of ACVCP. He is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics (AAVPT). He has served on various Expert Committees: the Council of Experts, and Chairman for the Veterinary Drugs Expert Committee for the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), and the USP Expert Committee on Antibiotics.
